ויש הבדל בין חלופין ותמורה. המחליף הוא בבחינת הדבר – שדבר זה חולף ודבר אחר בא במקומו. והתמורה היא בבחינת האדם, ובא גם על עצמיים הגיונים – "כבודם בקלון אמיר". עד שמשמע שחליפים הם או מקדש לחול או בבחינת הרשות במחליף בשם חברו. (בחקותי סימן סט)

And there is a difference between חלופין and תמורה (exchange): חלופין is in the sense of the object – that this object passes and another object comes in its place. And תמורה is in the sense of the person, and it comes also about one’s sense of being - כבודם בקלון אמיר (I will change their glory into shame)⁷⁴⁵.
