The word עוד (more) implies that it was already so in the beginning.
ויש הבדל בין עוד ובין שנית. שבמקום שאינו מקפיד על המספר ועל שיוי הנמנים יתפוס מלת "עוד". אבל במקום שיקפיד על זה יתפש מלת "שנית". (תזריע סימן סב)

And there is a difference between עוד and שנית (more): In a place where it is not precise about the number or about the things which are counted, it will use the word עוד. But in a place where it is precise, it will use the word שנית.
