כל מקום שהזכיר מספר קצוב ואחר כך מספר הסידורי בימים – הוא תמיד למנין, לא לחדש. "שבעת ימים יהיה עם אמו, ביום השמיני תתנו לי**"**
Any place where it mentions a certain number and afterwards an ordinal number referring to days – it always means counting consecutive days, not the day of the month.שבעת ימים יהיה עם אמו, ביום השמיני תתנו לי (seven days it shall be with its dam; on the eighth day you shall give it Me)¹⁵⁹.
