These are the journeys of Bnei Yisroel who went out of Egypt in organized groups under the leadership of Moshe and Aharon.

These are the journeys of the children of Yisra᾽el, who went out of the land of Miżrayim with their armies under the hand of Moshe and Aharon.

These are the journeys of the children of Israel, who went out of the land of Egypt by their hosts, by the hand of Moses and Aaron. [These are recorded to apprise us of the L-rd's lovingkindness, viz.: Though He decreed that they wander in the desert, they actually made only twenty journeys in thirty-eight years.]

Moshe recorded their departures for their journeys according to Adonoy’s command; these were the departure for their journeys.

And Moshe wrote their goings out according to their journeys by the commandment of the Lord: and these are their journeys according to their goings out.

And Moses wrote down their goings forth according to their journeys by word of the L-rd; and these are their journeys by their goings forth.

They journeyed from Ra’meses in the first month—on the fifteenth day of the first month—on the day after the [Korban] Pesach, Bnei Yisroel left triumphantly before the eyes of all Egyptians.

And they departed from Ra῾meses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month; on the morrow after the passover the children of Yisra᾽el went out with a high hand in the sight of all Miżrayim.

And they journeyed from Ra'amses on the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month. On the morrow of the Pesach the children of Israel went out with a high hand in the sight of all of Egypt.

Egypt was burying that which Adonoy had struck among them—all their firstborn—and on their idols Adonoy had inflicted punishments.

And Miżrayim was burying all their firstborn, whom the Lord had smitten among them: upon their gods also the Lord executed judgments.

And Egypt was burying [(engrossed in mourning)] those whom the L-rd had smitten of them — every first-born. And in their gods the L-rd wrought judgment.

Bnei Yisroel journeyed from Ra’meses and camped in Succos.

And the children of Yisra᾽el removed from Ra῾meses, and pitched in Sukkot.

And the children of Israel journeyed from Ra'amses and they encamped in Succoth.

They journeyed from Succos and camped in Eisom which is on the edge of the wilderness.

And they departed from Sukkot, and pitched in Etam, which is in the edge of the wilderness.

And they journeyed from Succoth and they encamped in Eitham at the edge of the desert.

They journeyed from Eisom and turned back to Pi Hachiros facing Ba’al Tzefon, and they camped by Migdol.

And they removed from Etam, and turned back to Pi-haĥirot, which is before Ba῾al-żefon: and they pitched before Migdol.

And they journeyed from Eitham and they abode at Pi-Hachiroth, which fronts Ba'al Tzefon; and they encamped before Migdol.

They journeyed from before Hachiros and crossed amidst the sea toward the wilderness. They traveled for three days in the wilderness of Eisom, and camped in Moroh.

And they departed from before Pi-haĥirot, and passed through the midst of the sea into the wilderness, and went three days’ journey in the wilderness of Etam and pitched in Mara.

And they journeyed from Pi-Hachiroth and passed in the midst of the sea to the desert, and they went a distance of three days in the desert of Eitham and they encamped in Marah.

They journeyed from Moroh and came to Eilim. In Eilim were twelve springs of water and seventy palm trees, and they camped there.

And they removed from Mara, and came to Elim: and in Elim were twelve fountains of water, and seventy palm trees; and they pitched there.

And they journeyed from Marah and they came to Eilim. And in Eilim there were twelve springs and seventy palm trees, and they encamped there.

They journeyed from Eilim and camped by the Sea of Reeds.

And they removed from Elim, and encamped by the Sea of Suf.

And they journeyed from Eilim and they encamped by the Red Sea.

They journeyed from the Sea of Reeds and camped in the wilderness of Sin.

And they removed from the Sea of Suf, and encamped in the wilderness of Sin.

And they journeyed from the Red Sea and they encamped in the desert of Sin.

They journeyed from the wilderness of Sin and camped in Dofkoh.

And they took their journey out of the wilderness of Sin, and encamped in Dofqa.

And they journeyed from the desert of Sin and they encamped in Dafkah.

They journeyed from Dofkoh and camped in Alush.

And they departed from Dofqa, and encamped in Alush.

And they journeyed from Dafkah and they encamped in Alush.

They journeyed from Alush and camped in Refidim, [but] there was no water there for the people to drink.

And they removed from Alush, and encamped at Refidim, where there was no water for the people to drink.

And they journeyed from Chatzeroth and they encamped in Rithmah [so called because of the spies' slander, which is likened (Psalms 20:34) to juniper coals (gachalei rethamim)].

They journeyed from Rismoh and camped in Rimon Peretz.

And they departed from Ritma, and pitched at Rimmon-pereż.

And they journeyed from Rithmah and they encamped in Rimon Paretz.

They journeyed from Rimon Peretz and camped in Livnoh.

And they departed from Rimmon-pereż, and pitched in Livna.

And they journeyed from Rimon Paretz and they encamped in Livnah.

They journeyed from Livnoh and camped in Risoh.

And they removed from Livna, and pitched at Rissa.

And they departed from Moserot, and pitched in Bene-ya῾aqan.

And they journeyed from Moseroth and they encamped in Bnei Ya'akan.

They journeyed from Bnei Ya’akon and camped in Chor Hagidgod.

And they removed from Bene-ya῾aqan, and encamped at Ḥor-haggidgad.

And they journeyed from Bnei Ya'akan and they encamped in Chor Hagidgad.

They journeyed from Chor Hagidgod and camped in Yotvosoh.

And they went from Ḥor-haggidgad, and pitched in Yotvata.

And they journeyed from Chor Hagidgad and they encamped in Yatvathah.

They journeyed from Yotvosoh and camped in Avronoh.

And they removed from Yotvata, and encamped at ῾Avrona.

And they journeyed from Yatvathah and they encamped in Avronah.

They journeyed from Avronoh and camped in Etzyon Gover.

And they departed from ῾Avrona, and encamped at ῾Eżyon-gever.

And they journeyed from Avronah and they encamped in Etzyon Gaver.

They journeyed from Etzyon Gover and camped in the wilderness of Sin, which is Kodeish.

And they removed from ῾Eżyon-gever, and pitched in the wilderness of Żin, which is Qadesh.

And they journeyed from Etzyon Gaver and they encamped in the desert of Sin, which is Kadesh.

They journeyed from Kodeish and camped in Hor Hohor, at the edge of the land of Edom.

And they removed from Qadesh, and pitched in mount Hor, in the edge of the land of Edom.

And they journeyed from Kadesh and they encamped in Hor Hahar, at the edge of the land of Edom.

Then Aharon the kohein ascended Hor Hohor by the word of Adonoy and died there; in the fortieth year of Bnei Yisroel’s exodus from Egypt, on the first day of the fifth month.

And Aharon the priest went up into mount Hor at the commandment of the Lord, and died there, in the fortieth year after the children of Yisra᾽el were come out of the land of Miżrayim, in the first day of the fifth month.

And Aaron the Cohein went up to Hor Hahar by the "mouth" of the L-rd, and he died there [by the Divine kiss] in the fortieth year of the exodus of the children of Israel from the land of Egypt, in the fifth month, on the first day of the month.

Aharon was 123 years old at his death on Hor Hohor.

And Aharon was a hundred and twenty three years old when he died in mount Hor.

And Aaron was one hundred and twenty-three years old when he died in Hor Hahar.

The Canaanite, the king of Arod heard that Bnei Yisroel were approaching—he dwelt in the south of the land of Canaan.

And the Kena῾anite king of ῾Arad, who dwelt in the Negev in the land of Kena῾an, heard of the coming of the children of Yisra᾽el.

And the Canaanite heard, the king of Arad [that Aaron had died and the clouds of glory had departed (and he felt that Israel was now vulnerable to attack)]. And he was dwelling in the south, in the land of Canaan, when the children of Israel came.

And they departed from mount Hor, and pitched in Żalmona.

And they journeyed from Hor Hahar and they encamped in Tzalmonah.

They journeyed from Tzalmonoh and camped in Punon.

And they departed from Żalmona, and pitched in Punon.

And they journeyed from Tzalmonah and they encamped in Punon.

They journeyed from Punon and camped in Ovos.

And they departed from Punon, and pitched in Ovot.

And they journeyed from Punon and they encamped in Ovoth.

They journeyed from Ovos and camped at the ruins of Avorim on Moav’s border.

And they departed from Ovot, and pitched in ῾Iyye-ha῾avarim, in the border of Mo᾽av.

And they journeyed from Ovoth and they encamped in Iyei ["the wastes"] of Avarim on the boundary of Moav.

They journeyed from the ruins and camped in Divon Gad.

And they departed from ῾Iyyim, and pitched in Divon-gad.

And they journeyed from Iyim and they encamped in Divon Gad.

They journeyed from Divon Gad and camped in Almon Divlasayim.

And they removed from Divon-gad, and encamped in ῾Almon-divlatayema.

And they journeyed from Divon Gad and they encamped in Almon Divlathaymah.

They journeyed from Almon Divlasayim and camped in the Avorim Mountains before Nevo.

And they removed from ῾Almon-divlatayema, and pitched in the mountains of ῾Avarim, before Nevo.

And they journeyed from Almon Divlathaymah and they encamped in Harei Ha'avarim before Nevo.

They journeyed from the Avorim Mountains and camped in the plains of Moav along the Yardein near Yereicho.

And they departed from the mountains of ῾Avarim, and pitched in the plains of Mo᾽av by Yarden near Yereĥo.

And they journeyed from Harei Ha'avarim and they encamped in the plains of Moav by the Jordan (near) Jericho.

They camped along the Yardein, from Beis Yeshimos until Aveil Hasheetim, in the plains of Moav.

And they pitched by the Yarden, from Bet-hayeshimot to Avel-hashshittim in the plains of Mo᾽av.

And they encamped by the Jordan from Beth Hayeshimoth until Aveil [the plain of] Shittim in the plains of Moav [a distance of twelve miles].

Adonoy spoke to Moshe in the plains of Moav along the Yardein [near] Yereicho, saying:

And the Lord spoke to Moshe in the plains of Mo᾽av by the Yarden near Yereĥo, saying,

And the L-rd spoke to Moses in the plains of Moav by the Jordan (near) Jericho, saying:

“Speak to Bnei Yisroel and say to them: ‘When you cross the Yardein to the land of Canaan,

Speak to the children of Yisra᾽el, and say to them, When you pass over the Yarden into the land of Kena῾an;

Speak to the children of Israel and say to them: When you are crossing the Jordan [on the dry land] to the land of Canaan, [cross with the following intent (52), that you will drive out the inhabitants of the land, (lacking which, the waters will return and drown you (See Joshua 4:10)].

you must drive out all of the inhabitants of the land before you. You must destroy all their carved stones, and demolish all their cast metal idols and tear down all their altars.

then you shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and destroy all their figured pavements, and destroy all their molten images, and devastate all their high places:

And you shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land before you, and you shall destroy all their temples [where they prostrated themselves to idolatry]; and all their molten images shall you destroy, and all of their sacrificial mounds shall you raze.

Drive out [the inhabitants of] the land and settle in it, because I have given this land to you to possess.

and you shall dispossess the inhabitants of the land, and dwell in it: for I have given you the land to possess it.

And [when] you rid the land [of its inhabitants], you will [be able to] dwell therein; for to you have I given the land to inherit it.

You shall give the land as an inheritance to your families by means of a lottery; to the large [family] you shall increase its portion, to the small [family] you shall decrease its portion. To whomever the lottery [system] ordains, it shall be his; according to your paternal tribes shall you inherit.

And you shall divide the land by lot for an inheritance among your families: and to the more you shall give the more inheritance, and to the fewer you shall give the less inheritance: every man’s inheritance shall be in the place where his lot falls; according to the tribes of your fathers you shall inherit.

And you shall possess the land by lot according to your families. For the many shall you increase his inheritance, and for the few shall you decrease his inheritance. Wherever the lot falls for him, it (i.e., that land) shall be his. By the tribes of your fathers [according to the number that left Egypt] shall you inherit.

But if you do not drive out the inhabitants of the land before you, those whom you will leave over will be spikes in your eyes and thorns in your sides, and they will persecute you upon the land in which you settle.

But if you will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you; then it shall come to pass, that those whom you allow to remain of them shall be as thorns in your eyes, and stings in your sides, and shall vex you in the land wherein you dwell.

And if you do not drive out the inhabitants of the land before you, then those you leave over of them shall be as pegs in your eyes and as thorn hedges on your sides ["hedging" you in], and they will vex you on the land in which you dwell.

And it shall be that what I had intended to do to them I will do to you.’”

Moreover it shall come to pass, that I shall do to you, as I thought to do to them.
