Haleluya! Praise the name of the Lord; praise him, O servants of the Lord.
Hallelukah! Praise the name of the L rd. Praise [Him], servants of the L rd.
You who stand in the house of the Lord, in the courts of the house of our God,
Who stand in the house of the L rd, in the courts of the house of our G d.
Haleluya! for the Lord is good: sing praises to his name; for it is pleasant.
Hallelukah! For good is the L rd. Sing to the L rd, for it is pleasant.
For the Lord has chosen Ya῾aqov to himself, Yisra᾽el for his peculiar possession.
For Jacob did the L rd elect; Israel, as His chosen one.
For I know that the Lord is great, and that our Lord is above all gods.
For I know that great is the L rd, and our G d [greater] than all exalted ones.
Whatever the Lord wishes, he has done in heaven, and in earth, in the seas, and all deep places.
All that the L rd wills, He does, in heaven and earth, in the seas and in all the depths.
He causes vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he makes lightnings for the rain; he brings the wind out of the treasuries.
He raises clouds from the ends of the earth. He makes lightnings for the rain. He finds wind [readied by Him to be sent forth] from His stores.
It was he who smote the firstborn of Miżrayim, both of man and beast;
He smote the first-born of Egypt, from man until beast.
who sent signs and wonders into the midst of thee, O Miżrayim, upon Par῾o, and upon all his servants;
He sent signs and wonders into the midst of Egypt, against Pharaoh and all of his servants.
who smote great nations, and slew mighty kings;
He smote many nations and slew mighty kings.
Siĥon king of the Emori, and ῾Og king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Kena῾an;
Sichon, king of the Emori, and Og, king of the Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan.
and gave their land for a heritage, a heritage to Yisra᾽el his people.
And He gave their land as an inheritance, an inheritance to Israel, His people.
Thy name, O Lord, endures forever; and Thy renown, O Lord, throughout all generations.
The L rd is Your name forever. The L rd is Your remembrance throughout the generations. [(As Your greatness and rule of yore, so is it now. And it is in Your power to judge and to avenge us.)]
For the Lord will judge the cause of his people, and he will relent concerning his servants.
For the L rd will judge [the cause of] His people [and take vengeance], and He will bethink Himself for His servants.
The idols of the nations are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands.
The idols of the nations are silver and gold, the work of the hands of man.
They have mouths, but they cannot speak; eyes have they, but they cannot see;
They have a mouth and do not speak; eyes, and do not see.
they have ears, but they cannot hear; nor is there any breath in their mouths.
They have ears and do not hear; neither is there any breath in their mouth.
May they who make them become like them; and everyone who trusts in them.
Like them, let their makers be, all who trust in them.
Bless the Lord, O house of Yisra᾽el: bless the Lord, O house of Aharon:
O house of Israel, bless the L rd! O house of Aaron, bless the L rd!
Bless the Lord, O house of Levi: you who fear the Lord, bless the Lord.
O house of Levi, bless the L rd! O fearers of the L rd [(the proselytes)] bless the L rd!
בָּ֘ר֤וּךְ יְהֹוָ֨ה**׀** מִצִּיּ֗וֹן שֹׁ֘כֵ֤ן יְֽרוּשָׁלָ֗͏ִם הַֽלְלוּ־יָֽהּ׃{פ}
Blessed be the Lord out of Żiyyon, he who dwells at Yerushalayim. Haleluya!
Bless the L rd [whose Shechinah shines forth] from Zion, who dwells in Jerusalem, Hallelukah!
