הַ֥לְלוּ־יָ֨הּ**׀** הַֽלְל֣וּ אֶת־יְ֭הֹוָה מִן־הַשָּׁמַ֑יִם הַֽ֝לְל֗וּהוּ בַּמְּרוֹמִֽים׃
Haleluya! Praise the Lord from the heavens: praise him in the heights.
Hallelukah! Praise the L rd from the heavens. Praise Him in the heights.
הַֽלְל֥וּהוּ כׇל־מַלְאָכָ֑יו הַ֝לְל֗וּהוּ כׇּל־צְבָאָֽו׃
Praise him, all his angels: praise him, all his hosts.
Praise Him all His angels. Praise Him all His hosts.
הַֽ֭לְלוּהוּ שֶׁ֣מֶשׁ וְיָרֵ֑חַ הַֽ֝לְל֗וּהוּ כׇּל־כּ֥וֹכְבֵי אֽוֹר׃
Praise him, sun and moon: praise him, all you stars of light.
Praise Him sun and moon. Praise Him all the stars of the night.
הַֽ֭לְלוּהוּ שְׁמֵ֣י הַשָּׁמָ֑יִם וְ֝הַמַּ֗יִם אֲשֶׁ֤ר**׀** מֵעַ֬ל הַשָּׁמָֽיִם׃
Praise him, heavens of heavens, and you waters that are above the heavens.
Praise Him skies of the heavens and the waters above the heavens.
יְֽ֭הַלְלוּ אֶת־שֵׁ֣ם יְהֹוָ֑ה כִּ֤י ה֖וּא צִוָּ֣ה וְנִבְרָֽאוּ׃
Let them praise the name of the Lord: for he gave command, and they were created.
Let them praise the name of the L rd, for He commanded and they were created.
וַיַּעֲמִידֵ֣ם לָעַ֣ד לְעוֹלָ֑ם חׇק־נָ֝תַ֗ן וְלֹ֣א יַעֲבֽוֹר׃
And he established them for ever and ever: he has made a decree which shall not pass.
And He set them up forever. He gave [them] an ordinance [(each to serve at its proper time)] not to be transgressed.
הַֽלְל֣וּ אֶת־יְ֭הֹוָה מִן־הָאָ֑רֶץ תַּ֝נִּינִ֗ים וְכׇל־תְּהֹמֽוֹת׃
Praise the Lord from the earth, O monsters, and all deeps:
Praise the L rd from the earth, sea-serpents and all the depths.
אֵ֣שׁ וּ֭בָרָד שֶׁ֣לֶג וְקִיט֑וֹר ר֥וּחַ סְ֝עָרָ֗ה עֹשָׂ֥ה דְבָרֽוֹ׃
fire, and hail; snow, and vapours; stormy wind fulfilling his word:
Fire and hail, snow and vapor, stormy wind doing His bidding.
הֶהָרִ֥ים וְכׇל־גְּבָע֑וֹת עֵ֥ץ פְּ֝רִ֗י וְכׇל־אֲרָזִֽים׃
mountains, and all hills; fruitful trees, and all cedars:
The mountains and all the hills, fruit-tree and all the cedars.
הַחַיָּ֥ה וְכׇל־בְּהֵמָ֑ה רֶ֝֗מֶשׂ וְצִפּ֥וֹר כָּנָֽף׃
beasts, and all cattle; creeping things, and winged birds:
The animals and all the beats, creeping things and winged fowl.
מַלְכֵי־אֶ֭רֶץ וְכׇל־לְאֻמִּ֑ים שָׂ֝רִ֗ים וְכׇל־שֹׁ֥פְטֵי אָֽרֶץ׃
kings of the earth, and all peoples; princes, and all judges of the earth:
The kings of the earth and all the nations, princes and all the judges of the earth.
בַּחוּרִ֥ים וְגַם־בְּתוּל֑וֹת זְ֝קֵנִ֗ים עִם־נְעָרִֽים׃
both young men, and girls; old men, and children:
Young men and also maidens, elders along with youths.
יְהַלְל֤וּ**׀** אֶת־שֵׁ֬ם יְהֹוָ֗ה כִּֽי־נִשְׂגָּ֣ב שְׁמ֣וֹ לְבַדּ֑וֹ ה֝וֹד֗וֹ עַל־אֶ֥רֶץ וְשָׁמָֽיִם׃
let them praise the name of the Lord: for his name alone is exalted; his glory is above the earth and heaven.
Let them praise the name of the L rd, for His name alone is exalted. His glory is over earth and heaven.
וַיָּ֤רֶם קֶ֨רֶן**׀** לְעַמּ֡וֹ תְּהִלָּ֤ה לְֽכׇל־חֲסִידָ֗יו לִבְנֵ֣י יִ֭שְׂרָאֵל עַ֥ם קְרֹב֗וֹ הַֽלְלוּ־יָֽהּ׃{פ}
He also has exalted the horn of his people, a praise for all his pious ones; even for the children of Yisra᾽el, a people near to him. Haleluya!
And He has lifted the horn of His people, praise for all of His saintly ones, for the children of Israel, the people close to Him — Hallelukah!
