יֵבֹ֣שׁוּ וְיַחְפְּרוּ֮ מְבַקְשֵׁ֢י נַ֫פְשִׁ֥י יִסֹּ֣גוּ אָ֭חוֹר וְיִכָּלְמ֑וּ חֲ֝פֵצֵ֗י רָעָתִֽי׃

Let them be ashamed and confounded who seek after my soul: let them be turned backward, and put to confusion, who desire my hurt.

Let those who seek my soul be shamed and abashed. Let those who desire my ill recoil in shame.

יָ֭שׁוּבוּ עַל־עֵ֣קֶב בׇּשְׁתָּ֑ם הָ֝אֹמְרִ֗ים הֶ֘אָ֥ח׀הֶאָֽח׃

Let them be turned back because of their shame who say, Aha, aha.

Let them be turned back in the [very] circuit of their shaming [of me, measure for measure,] those who exult [in my afflictions, shouting:] "He'ach! He'ach!"

יָ֘שִׂ֤ישׂוּ וְיִשְׂמְח֨וּ**׀** בְּךָ֗ כׇּֽל־מְבַ֫קְשֶׁ֥יךָ וְיֹאמְר֣וּ תָ֭מִיד יִגְדַּ֣ל אֱלֹהִ֑ים אֹ֝הֲבֵ֗י יְשׁוּעָתֶֽךָ׃

Let all those who seek Thee rejoice and be glad in Thee: and let such as love Thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.

וַאֲנִ֤י**׀** עָנִ֣י וְאֶבְיוֹן֮ אֱלֹהִ֢ים ח֫וּשָׁה־לִּ֥י עֶזְרִ֣י וּמְפַלְטִ֣י אַ֑תָּה יְ֝הֹוָ֗ה אַל־תְּאַחַֽר׃{פ}
