כִּי הִנֵּה יָמִים בָּאִים. וְלֹא תֹאמַר לָמָּה אֶכְתְּבֶנּוּ כִּי יֹאבְדוּ כֻּלָּם וְאֵין קוֹרֵא בּוֹ וְאֵין זוֹכְרוֹ עוֹד כִּי הִנֵּה יָמִים בָּאִים וְגוֹ׳:

For, behold, days are coming And you shall not say, Why should I write it, since they all will perish, and no one will read it, neither will anyone remember it anymore, for, “behold, days are coming, etc.”

A sound of quaking we have heard Some interpret this as alluding to the tidings of Babylon, from which those exiled there quaked. But the Midrash Aggadah explains it as an allusion to the war of Gog and Magog.

settling storm camping and dwelling an expression of “the land of the sojournings of (מְגוּרֵי)” (Gen. 37:1), and a similar case is “and a whirling (מִתְחוֹלֵל) storm” (supra 23:19) stated in the other verse is the same as this for both of them are expressions of camping.
