עא) אמר ר' שמעון וכו': אר"ש אל החברים. בבקשה מכם, שלא תוציאו מפיכם דבר תורה, שלא ידעתם ולא שמעתם מאילן גדול כראוי. בשביל שלא תהיו גורמים לאותה חטאה, להרוג המוני בני אדם חנם. פתחו כולם ואמרו, הרחמן יצילנו, הרחמן יצילנו.

פירוש מלה דאורייתא וכו', כלומר, אם אתם יודעים מעצמכם, מוטב,, ואם לא, צריכים אתם לשמוע איך לעבוד את ה' מאילנא רברבא כדקא יאות, דהיינו מאדם גדול שאפשר לסמוך עליו. בגין דלא תהוון גרמין וכו'.
