Leader: Indeed, I know that You, / the God of Jacob, created all things.

Cong: You are Creator but were not created; / You form every creature but You were not formed.

Leader: You bring death and shall consume all away; / You bring down to the grave and shall also bring out of it.

Cong: Faithful are You to revive the dead; / You have indeed made this known through Your prophets.

Leader: And You, O living God, shall not die, nor have You died; / You exist forever and ever.

Cong: You bring babies to breach and give life, but You were not born; / You crush and heal but You have never been afflicted.

Leader: You know no death or pain; / Your eyes know not sleep or slumber.

Cong: For from the earliest days, You have been a living God; / You have not changed from what You have always been.

Leader: And You shall never change; / You shall never be degraded from Your divinity.

Cong: The terms “new” and “old” do not apply to You; / You initiated all but You were not initiated.

Leader: Old age and youth cannot be ascribed / to You; neither can hoariness or childhood.

Cong: Joy and sadness cannot be ascribed to You; / nor can the form of any creature or finite being.

Leader: For no material matter affects You; / You are unlike any creature or soul.

Cong: You surrounded each of Your creatures with boundaries; / their beginnings and ends are defined.

Leader: For You have placed boundaries for Your creatures; / You have surrounded the cycle of their lives with limits.

Cong: But You have no boundaries; neither do Your days, / Your years or Your great power.

Leader: Therefore, You need no one; / yet all beings need Your hand and Your kindness.

Cong: All require Your acts of righteousness, / yet You do not require Your creatures.

Leader: For before any creature, You existed / alone; You were in need of nothing.

Cong: All their beginnings and ends are arranged by Your hand; / You are within them and they are bound up with You.

Leader: All that was at the beginning, / and all that will be in later years;

Cong: All creatures and all their deeds, / their speech and all their thoughts;

Leader: From beginning to end You know all / and shall never forget; for You are near them.

Cong: You created them and Your heart arranged them; / You alone know their place and their path.

Leader: For nothing is concealed from You; / for all of them stand before You.

Cong: There is no darkness or refuge or concealed place / to which one can flee and hide.

Leader: You shall find what You seek / without inclining toward them whenever You so desire.

Cong: For You see all in one sweeping glance; / You act alone and do not become weary.

Leader: For ofconcerning an entire nation or all humankind, / to all You can speak in a single moment.

Cong: You can hear all voices at the very same moment, / cries, whispers, and all prayers.

Leader: You also discern all of their deeds; / You seek out the inner workings of their hearts in an instant.

Cong: You do not prolong Your thoughts; / You do not hesitate upon Your counsel.

Leader: Your counsel and decrees are one and the same; / they shall be carried out at the time You determine.

Cong: All of them are true, complete and upright, / with no excess or deficiency.

Leader: Nothing shall ever be lost from You; / nothing is too burdensome for You.

Cong: You are able to do all that You desire, / and no one can . prevent You from doing it

Leader: The ability of the Lord is His will; / when the Lord so desires, it will not be delayed. bound up with

Cong: No secret from You; / for You, future and past events are one and the same. hidden can be kept

Leader: From eternity, / all are within You and You are within all. eternity to

Cong: You tell of Your innovations and Your secret ways / to Your servants and Your angels.

Leader: Yet You do not need to be informed / or told of any secret, hidden matter.

Cong: For every secret is revealed to You / even before it enters the mind of any creature.

Leader: No creature’s heart can discover You; / no haughty words shall flow out of our mouths.

Cong: Because He has no bounds and cannot be divided, / no heart can explore His existence and no mouth shall dare to open.

Leader: He does not have sides or borders; / . therefore, no conversation can correct Him

Cong: It is beyond any being to obtain His knowledge; / to grasp its beginning or end.

Leader: His beginning, middle and end are unified and bound up together; / I shall prevent all mouths and hearts from seeking and exploring it.

Cong: His height and depth are attached like a circle’s ends; / even the wise of heart and discerning shall not fathom it.

Leader: His glory permeates all and fills the world entire; / since You are all, You are within all.

Cong: No one is above or You; / no one outside You and no one in between. below

Leader: No image, front or back, can be ascribed to Your unity; / the power of Your has no form. Oneness

Cong: No one in the midst is separated from You; / not even the narrowest place exists in which Your presence is absent.

Leader: Yet You are not set aside or secluded from all; / no area is devoid of Your presence.

Cong: Chance and change do not exist for You; / neither do time, transience or inadequacy.

Leader: You establish every time and season; / You arrange them and change them.

Cong: No wisdom can grasp You; / no mind can attain You.

Leader: Your wisdom is as great as Your stature; / Your insight is as great as Your majesty.

Cong: Your wisdom is Yours alone; / Your vitality comes from within ourself and no one is like You. y

Leader: No wisdom exists aside from Yours; / without Your insight. there are no devices

Cong: You have provided the hearts of the wise with intelligence; / fills them and renders their minds wise. Your spirit

Leader: Without Your power there is no might; / without Your strength there is no succor.

Cong: No one is honored unless You provide him with honor; / no one is great unless You render him great.

Leader: All come from Your hand / to whomever You desire to show Your kindness. dear and good shall

Cong: Your greatness can never be uncovered; / Your insight has no limit.

Leader: If not for Your existence none could exist; / You are alive, omnipotent, and there is none but You.

Cong: And You existed before all; / since the world was created, You have permeated it all.

Leader: You were not pressed or swayed by / Your creatures; neither did they diminish You in any way.

Cong: Although You created all You did not separate Yourself; / You did not cease to exist within Your works.

Leader: In Your creation of the heavens, / the land and water,

Cong: Creating them did not cause You to become closer or more distant, / for You know no limits.

Leader: No flood of water can wash You away; / no mighty wind can blow You asunder.

Cong: No filth can contaminate You;Your divine fire cannot consume You.

Leader: Your existence lacks nothing; / Your has no excess. Oneness

Cong: Just as You have always been – You shall always be; / You know no want or surplus.

Leader: Your own name testifies that You have always existed in all, / You exist now and shall forever be.

Cong: You forever exist and have always been renowned; / we shall testify to this and – so have You

Leader: That You exist in all; / all is Yours and all comes from You. with

Cong: Your honorable names shall declare and testify – / testify to the power of Your honor.
