יוֹנָתִי בְּחַגְוֵי הַסֶּֽלַע, בְּסֵֽתֶר הַמַּדְרֵגָה הַרְאִֽינִי אֶת־מַרְאַֽיִךְ, הַשְׁמִיעִֽנִי אֶת־קוֹלֵךְ כִּי־קוֹלֵךְ עָרֵב וּמַרְאֵיךְ נָאוֶה׃
יוֹנָתִי My dove in the clefts of the rock, in the hiding places of the mountain side, show me your face, let me hear your voice; for your voice is sweet, and your face is lovely.
אַחַת הִיא יוֹנָתִי תַמָּתִי אַחַת הִיא לְאִמָּהּ, בָּרָה הִיא לְיוֹלַדְתָּהּ רָאֽוּהָ בָנוֹת וַיְאַשְּׁרֽוּהָ, מְלָכוֹת וּפִילַגְשִׁים וַיְהַלְלֽוּהָ׃
אַחַת There is one alone, my dove, my perfect one, her mother’s only child, the favorite of the one who bore her. Maidens see her and called her blessed; queens and concubines praise her.
מִי שֶׁבֵּרַךְ אֲבוֹתֵֽינוּ אַבְרָהָם יִצְחָק וְיַעֲקֹב מֹשֶׁה וְאַהֲרֹן דָּוִד וּשְׁלֹמֹה, שָׂרָה רִבְקָה רָחֵל וְלֵאָה הוּא יְבָרֵךְ אֶת הָאִשָּׁה הַיּוֹלֶֽדֶת (פלונית בַּת פלונית)
מִי שֶׁבֵּרַךְ He who blessed our ancestors, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, Moses and Aaron, David and Solomon, Sarah, Rebecca, Rachel and Leah – may He bless (mother’s name daughter of her mother’s name), who has given birth.
וְאֶת בִּתָּהּ (פלונית בַּת פלוני) שֶׁנּוֹלְדָה לָהּ בְּמַזָּל טוֹב.
If the baby has already been named in the synagogue: and her newborn daughter, (baby’s name daughter of father’s name), born in favor.
וְאֶת בִּתָּהּ שֶׁנּוֹלְדָה לָהּ בְּמַזָּל טוֹב וְיִקָּרֵא שְׁמָהּ בְּיִשְׂרָאֵל (פלונית בַּת פלוני).
If the baby has not been named in the synagogue: and her newborn daughter, born in favor, whose name in Israel shall be called (baby’s name daughter of father’s name).
אָנָּא בָּרֵךְ אֶת אָבִֽיהָ וְאֶת אִמָּהּ וְיִזְכּוּ לְגַדְּלָהּ לְתוֹרָה וּלְחֻפָּה וּלְמַעֲשִׂים טוֹבִים, וְנֹאמַר אָמֵן.
Bless, we pray to You, her parents that they may have the merit to raise her to the Torah, to the marriage canopy and to good deeds; and let us say: Amen.
יְשִׂמֵךְ אֱלֹהִים כְּשָׂרָה רִבְקָה רָחֵל וְלֵאָה. יְבָרֶכְךָ יהוה וְיִשְׁמְרֶֽךָ׃ יָאֵר יהוה פָּנָיו אֵלֶֽיךָ וִיחֻנֶּֽךָּ׃ יִשָּׂא יהוה פָּנָיו אֵלֶֽיךָ, וְיָשֵׂם לְךָ שָׁלוֹם׃
יְשִׂמֵךְ May God make you like Sarah, Rebecca, Rachel and Leah. May the LORD bless you and protect you. May the LORD make His face shine on you and be gracious to you. May the LORD turn His face toward you and grant you peace.
וִיהִי רָצוֹן מִלִּפְנֵי אָבִֽינוּ שֶׁבַּשָּׁמַֽיִם, שֶׁיִּתֵּן בְּלִבֵּךְ אַהֲבָתוֹ וְיִרְאָתוֹ וְתִהְיֶה יִרְאַת יהוה עַל פָּנַֽיִךְ כָּל יָמַֽיִךְ שֶׁלֹּא תֶחֱטָֽאִי וִיהִי חֶשְׁקֵךְ בַּתּוֹרָה וּבַמִּצְוֹת. עֵינַֽיִךְ לְנֹֽכַח יַבִּֽיטוּ, פִּיךְ יְדַבֵּר חָכְמוֹת וְלִבֵּךְ יֶהְגֶּה אֵימוֹת יָדַֽיִךְ יַעַסְקוּ בְמִצְוֹת וְרַגְלַֽיִךְ יָרֽוּצוּ לַעֲשׂוֹת רְצוֹן אָבִיךְ שֶׁבַּשָּׁמַֽיִם.
וִיהִי רָצוֹן May it be the will of our Father in heaven, that He set in your heart the love and awe of Him all your days, so that you do not come to sin. May your desire be for the Torah and the commandments. May your eyes look straight before you; may your mouth speak wisdom and your heart meditate in awe; may your hands be occupied with the commandments and may your feet run to do the will of your Father in heaven.
הָאֱלֹהִים אֲשֶׁר הִתְהַלְּכוּ אֲבֹתַי לְפָנָיו, אַבְרָהָם וְיִצְחָק הָאֱלֹהִים הָרֹעֶה אֹתִי, מֵעוֹדִי עַד־הַיּוֹם הַזֶּה׃ הַמַּלְאָךְ הַגֹּאֵל אֹתִי מִכָּל־רָע, יְבָרֵךְ אֶת־הַנְּעָרִים וְיִקָּרֵא בָהֶם שְׁמִי, וְשֵׁם אֲבֹתַי אַבְרָהָם וְיִצְחָק וְיִדְגּוּ לָרֹב בְּקֶֽרֶב הָאָֽרֶץ׃
הָאֱלֹהִים May God before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac walked – God who has been my Shepherd all my life to this day, the angel who has rescued me from all harm – may He bless the children. May they be called by my name and the names of my fathers Abraham and Isaac, and may they increase greatly on earth.
אֲחֹתֵֽנוּ, אַתְּ הֲיִי לְאַלְפֵי רְבָבָה׃
Our sister, may you grow to become thousands of myriads.
