From R Yoseph Spigelman: ShiurBank by R Yoseph Spigelman.

Shiur given to Shana Bet Talmidim:

Themes: Noach finding חן in Hashem’s eyes, נֹחַ and חֵן as two mirrors reflecting the relationship between Hashem and man, the teivah as an environment for spiritual growth, Shana Aleph as receiving and Shana Bet as taking responsibility, וַיִּשָּׁאֵר אַךְ נֹחַ and the danger of emerging unchanged from extraordinary experiences, the difference between inspiration and transformation, moving from being shaped by yeshiva to taking ownership of our avodas Hashem, preparing for drafting and carrying Torah beyond the walls of the beis midrash, maintaining our values when our environment changes, the Sfas Emes on desire shaping our perception of truth, building a personal relationship with Hashem through tefillah, allowing Torah to transform our character, what Hashem sees when He looks at us and what we see when we look toward Him, leaving the teivah ready to build.
