Based on Likkutei Sichos vol. 25, Lech Lecha 1 and 2. This shiur explores why the Torah introduces Avraham without mentioning his merits, unlike Noach. It explains that the Jewish people's bond with Hashem rests on Divine choice, not human achievement, and that every mitzvah is a channel for that bond.
