This Hayom Yom explains that after Mattan Torah the order is to remove the orlah of the body, the tongue and the heart — action, speech and thought — while Avraham, before Mattan Torah, went the other way: first he recognized his Creator (thought), then made G-dliness known (speech), and only then came the circumcision (action).
