The Rebbe responds about the use of a pendulum for divining hidden information: he himself does not believe in it, but since "we have not seen" is no proof, the writer should ask a moreh hora'ah whether Shulchan Aruch permits it — and why seek new ways when Torah and mitzvah are a paved road?
