The Rebbe encourages the recipient to study both Nigleh and Chassidus diligently, increase in prayer, and recite Tehillim according to the monthly and weekly divisions. He also suggests learning Mishnayos or Tanya by heart, and blesses him for success in Torah study and observance while serving in the army.
