This shiur explains the Alter Rebbe's reading of the Ra'aya Mehemna: the Tree of Good and Evil means the forbidden and permitted things themselves, rooted in kelipas nogah. Permitted food is elevated through serving Hashem, all the more on Shabbos, while the study of their laws is the Oral Torah itself.
