This shiur explains the Alter Rebbe's teaching that the exile of the Shechinah is the descent of Malchus of Atzilus into kelipas nogah to refine the fallen sparks. In exile the main avodah is clarifying those sparks through Torah study, above all the analysis of what is permitted and forbidden, pure and impure.
