לָא מְטוּלְתָּנָא יְיָ לָא מְטוּל זַכְוָתָנָא אֲרוּם לִשְׁמָךְ הַב אַיְקָרָא מְטוּל טוּבָךְ וּמְטוּל קוּשְׁטָךְ:
Not on our account**, o LORD, not for our**merits, but for Your name, grant honor, for Your goodness and for Your truth.
לְמָא יֵימְרוּן עַמְמַיָא אָן הַשְׁתָּא אֱלָהָהוֹן:
Why will the nations say, "Where is their God now?"
וֵאלָהָנָא מְדוֹרֵיהּ בִּשְׁמַיָא כָּל דִי יִצְבֵי עָבֵד:
And our God dwells in heaven; all that He desires He does.
טַעֲוָתְהוֹן דְכַסְפָּא וְדַהֲבָא עוֹבַד יְדוֹי בַּר נָשׁ:
Their mistakes are silver and gold, the works of human hand.
פּוּמָא לְהוֹן וְלָא מְמַלְלִין עַיְנִין לְהוֹן וְלָא חָמְיָן:
A mouth they have, but do not speak; eyes they have, but do not see.
אוּדְנִין לְהוֹן וְלָא שָׁמְעִין נְחִירֵי לְהוֹן וְלָא מְרִיחִין:
Ears they have, but do not hear, nostrils they have, but do not smell.
יְדֵיהוֹן וְלָא מְמַשְׁמְשִׁין רִגְלְהוֹן וְלָא מְהַלְכִין לָא מְרַנְנִין בְּעִנְקְהוֹן:
Hands, but do not feel, feet, but do not walk, there is no murmuring in their throats.
דִכְמָתְהוֹן יְהוֹן עוֹבָדֵיהוֹן כֹּל דִי מִתְרְחֵץ עֲלֵיהוֹן:
Like them will be their worshipers, all who trust in them.
יִשְׂרָאֵל רְחֵץ בְּמֵימְרָא דַייָ סַעְדְהוֹן וּתְרֵיסְהוֹן הוּא:
Israel, trust in the Word of the LORD; their help and shield is He.
דְבֵית אַהֲרֹן רְחִיצוּ בְּמֵימְרָא דַייָ סַעְדְהוֹן וּתְרֵיסְהוֹן הוּא:
Those of the house of Aaron, trust in the Word of the LORD; their help and shield is He.
דַחֲלַיָא דַייָ רְחִיצוּ בְּמֵימְרָא דַייָ סַעְדְהוֹן וּתְרֵיסְהוֹן הוּא:
Reverent of the LORD, trust in the Word of the LORD; their help and shield is He.
מֵימְרָא דַייָ דְכַר יָתָנָא לְטָב יְבָרֵךְ יְבָרֵךְ יַת בֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵל יְבָרֵךְ יַת בֵּית אַהֲרֹן:
May the word of the LORD remember us for good! He will bless! He will bless the house of Israel, He will bless the house of Aaron.
יְבָרֵךְ דַחֲלַיָא דַייָ זְעִירַיָא עִם רַבְרְבַיָא:
He will bless the reverent of the LORD, the small with the great.
יוֹסֵף מֵימְרָא דַייָ עֲלַוֵיכוֹן עֲלַוֵיכוֹן וַעֲלַוֵי בְנֵיכוֹן:
May the word of the LORD add upon you, upon you and upon your children!
בְּרִיכִין אַתּוּן מִן קֳדָם יְיָ עָבֵד שְׁמַיָא וְאַרְעָא:
Blessed are youfrom before the LORD, Maker of heaven and earth.
שְׁמֵי שְׁמַיָא לִשְׁכִינַת יְקָרָא דַייָ וְאַרְעָא יְהַב לִבְנֵי נָשָׁא:
The heavens of the heavens are for the presence of the Glory of the LORD; but the earth He gave to humans.
לָא מֵתַיָא מְשַׁבְּחִין שְׁמָא דַייָ וְלָא כָּל נָחֲתֵי בֵית קְבוּרַת אַדְמָתָא:
The dead do not praise the name of the LORD, nor do all who go down tothe house of the land's grave.
וַאֲנַחְנָא נְבָרֵךְ יָהּ מִן הַשְׁתָּא וְעַד עַלְמָא הַלְלוּיָהּ:
But we bless Yah, from now until forever, hallelujah!
