And all of this is with respect to expressions that are organized and consecutive, one after another in time. But when it comes to talk about a matter that already happened before that time – the noun will always precede the verb. As when Rashi interprets the verse והאדם ידע (And the man knew)²⁴² and וה' פקד את שרה (And the LORD remembered Sarah)²⁴³ and ואל משה אמר (And to Moses He said)²⁴⁴.
