We do not find the language הקרבה (sacrifice) used with respect to something that is not a sacrifice in and of itself but only comes to fix a sacrifice.

And when it is written תקריב מלח (you shall offer salt)⁶⁴⁹, it comes to teach that its law is like the law for sacrifices in that it takes precedence over the Sabbath and uncleanness.

It says וזאת תורת זבח השלמים אשר יקריב (And this is the law of the sacrifice of peace-offerings)⁶⁵⁰; although, it does not speak about the laws of a sacrifice at all. This is to teach that the law for the bread is like the law for sacrifices.
