בְּכֵן שַׁבַּח משֶׁה וּבְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל יָת תִּשְׁבַּחְתָּא הָדָא קֳדָם יְיָ וַאֲמָרוּ לְמֵימָר נְשַׁבַּח וְנוֹדֵי קָדָם יְיָ אֲרֵי אִתְגָאֵי עַל גֵוְתָנַיָא וְגֵאוּתָא דִילֵהּ הִיא סוּסְיָא וְרָכְבֵהּ רְמָא בְיַמָא:

Then Moshe and the B’nei Yisrael sang this song to [exalted this praise before] Adonoy and they said, I [We] will sing to [praise and we will give thanks before] Adonoy for He is most high [exalted Himself above those who are exalted, and exaltation is His], horse and its rider He threw into the sea.

תָּקְפִּי וְתֻשְׁבַּחְתִּי דְחִילָא יְיָ וַאֲמַר בְּמֵימְרֵהּ וַהֲוָה לִי לְפָרָק דֵין אֱלָהַי וְאֶבְנֵי לֵהּ מַקְדְשָׁא אֱלָהָא דַאֲבָהָתַי וְאֶפְלַח קֳדָמוֹהִי:

The strength and retribution [The awesomeness] of God [is my strength and my praise] was the cause of my deliverance. [He said with His Word and He has been a savior for me.] This is my Almighty and I will glorify [build a Temple for] Him; the God of my father and I will exalt [worship before] Him.

יְיָ מָרֵי נִצְחָן קְרָבַיָא יְיָ שְׁמֵהּ:

Adonoy is the master of [victory of] war[s], Adonoy is His Name.

רְתִכֵּי פַּרְעֹה וּמַשִׁרְיָתֵהּ שְׁדִי בְיַמָא וּשְׁפַר גִבָּרוֹהִי אִטְבָּעוּ בְּיַמָא דְסוּף:

Pharaoh’s chariots and army He hurled into the sea; his elite officers were sunk in the Reed Sea.

תְּהוֹמַיָא חֲפוֹ עֲלֵיהוֹן נְחָתוּ לְעוּמְקַיָא כְּאַבְנָא:

The depths covered them, they sank into the shadowy depths like stone.

יַמִינָךְ יְיָ אַדִירָא בְּחֵילָא יַמִינָךְ יְיָ תְּבָרַת סָנְאָה:

Your right hand Adonoy, is adorned with power, Your right hand Adonoy, crushes the enemy.

וּבִסְגֵי תָקְפָּךְ תְּבַרְתָּנוּן לִדְקָמוּ עַל עַמָךְ שַׁלַחְתָּ רוּגְזָךְ שֵׁיצִיתִינוּן כְּנוּרָא לְקַשָׁא:

In Your great majesty [might], You destroy [crush] Your opponents [those who rise up against Your people]; You send forth Your fury, it consumes them like [fire consumes] straw.

וּבְמֵימַר פּוּמָךְ חַכִּימוּ מַיָא קָמוּ כְשׁוּר אֲזָלַיָא קָפוּ תְהוֹמִין בְּלִבָּא דְיַמָא:

Through the wind [breath] of Your nostrils [Word of Your mouth], the waters were heaped up [became wise], flowing water stood like a wall; the deep waters congealed in the heart of the sea.

דַהֲוָה אֲמַר סָנְאָה אֶרְדוֹף אַדְבֵּק אֲפַלֵג בִּזְתָא תִּשְׂבַּע מִנְהוֹן נַפְשִׁי אֶשְׁלוֹף חַרְבִּי תְּשֵׁיצִינוּן יְדִי:

The enemy [had] said, “I will pursue [them], I will overtake [them], I will divide the spoils, I will satisfy myself [My soul will be satisfied from them]; I will draw my sword, my hand will destroy them.”

אֲמַרְתָּ בְּמֵימְרָךְ חֲפָא עֲלֵיהוֹן יַמָא אִשְׁתְּקָעוּ כַּאֲבָרָא בְּמַיִן תַּקִיפִין:

You made Your wind blow [said with Your Word], the sea covered them; they sank like lead in the mighty waters.

לֵית בַּר מִנָךְ דְאַתְּ הוּא אֱלָהָא יְיָ לֵית בַּר מִנָךְ אֱלָהָא אַתְּ אַדִיר בְּקוּדְשָׁא דְחֵל תֻּשְׁבְּחָן עָבֵד פָּרִישָׁן:

Who is like You among the mighty, Adonoy! Who is like You, adorned in holiness, Awesome in praise, doing wonders? [There is none besides You, for You are God, Adonoy! There is none besides You, O God, You are adorned in holiness, Awesome in praise, doing wonders!]

אֲרֵמְתָּ יַמִינָךְ בְּלָעָתְנוּן אַרְעָא:

You extended Your right hand, the earth swallowed them.

דַבַּרְהִי בְטַבְוָתָךְ עַמָא דְנַן דִפְרָקְתָּ סוֹבַרְהִי בְתָקְפָּךְ לְדִירָא דְקֻדְשָׁךְ:

In Your kindliness [goodness] You led the people [who] You redeemed; with Your might You guided [carried] them to Your holy dwelling place.

שְׁמָעוּ עַמְמַיָא וְזָעוּ דַחֲלָא אַחֲדָתְנוּן לְדַהַווֹ יָתְבִין בִּפְלָשֶׁת:

Peoples heard and they tremble, terror gripped the inhabitants of [those who inhabited] Philistia.

בְּכֵן אִתְבְּהִילוּ רַבְרְבֵי אֱדוֹם תַּקִיפֵי מוֹאָב אֲחַדָתְנוּן רְתֵיתָא אִתְבָּרוּ כֹּל דַהֲווֹ יָתְבִין בִּכְנָעַן:

Then the chiefs of Edom panicked, the mighty men of Moav were seized with trembling; all the inhabitants of [those who inhabited] Canaan melted away [were crushed].

תַּפֵּיל עֲלֵיהוֹן אֵימְתָא וְדַחַלְתָּא בִּסְגֵי תָקְפָּךְ יִשְׁתְּקוּן כְּאַבְנָא עַד דְיֵעִבַּר עַמָךְ יְיָ יָת אַרְנוֹנָא עַד דְיֵעִבַּר עַמָא דְנַן דִי פְרַקְתָּא יָת יַרְדְנָא:

Horror and dread [will] fall upon them, at the greatness of Your arm [power], they [will be] are still [silent] as stone; until Your people [will] cross over [the stream of Arnon], Adonoy, until Your [this] people [who] You acquired [redeemed will] cross over [the Jordan].

תָּעֵלִנוּן וְתַשְׁרִינוּן בְּטוּרָא דְאַחְסַנְתָּךְ אֲתַר מְתַקֵן לְבֵית שְׁכִנְתָּךְ אַתְקֵנְתָּא יְיָ מַקְדְשָׁא יְיָ אַתְקְנוֹהִי יְדָיךְ:

You will bring them and plant them [cause them to dwell] on the mountain of Your inheritance, the place [prepared] for [the house of] Your habitation [Shechina], which You, Adonoy have made [established]; the Sanctuary—my Master—[which] Your hands established.

יְיָ מַלְכוּתֵהּ קָאֵם לְעָלַם וּלְעָלְמֵי עָלְמַיָא:

Adonoy will reign[, His kingdom is established] forever and ever.

אֲרֵי עַל סוּסָוַת פַּרְעֹה בִּרְתִכּוֹהִי וּבְפָרָשׁוֹהִי בְּיַמָא וַאֲתֵיב יְיָ עֲלֵיהוֹן יָת מֵי יַמָא וּבְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל הַלִיכוּ בְיַבֶּשְׁתָּא בְּגוֹ יַמָא:

When Pharaoh came with his horse and chariot and his cavalry into the sea, Adonoy returned the waters of the sea on them; and the B’nei Yisrael walked on dry land in the midst of the sea.

וּנְסֵיבַת מִרְיָם נְבִיאֲתָא אֲחָתֵהּ דְאַהֲרֹן יָת תֻּפָּא בִּידַהּ וּנְפָקוּ כָל נְשַׁיָא בַּתְרָהָא בְּתֻפִּין וּבְחִנְגִין:

Miriam the prophetess, sister of Aharon, took the drum in her hand; and all the women followed her with drums and dancing.

וּמְעַנְיָא לָהֶן מִרְיָם שַׁבָּחוּ וְאוֹדוּ קֳדָם יְיָ אֲרֵי אִתְגָאֵי עַל גֵוְתָנַיָא וְגֵאוּתָא דִילֵהּ הִיא סוּסְיָא וְרָכְבֵהּ רְמָא בְיַמָא:

Miriam led them in the response: “Sing to [Praise and give thanks before] Adonoy for He is most high [exalted Himself above those who are exalted, and exaltation is His]; horse and its rider He hurled into the sea.”

וְאַטֵל משֶׁה יָת יִשְׂרָאֵל מִיַמָא דְסוּף וּנְפָקוּ לְמַדְבְּרָא דְחַגְרָא וַאֲזָלוּ תְלָתָא יוֹמִין בְּמַדְבְּרָא וְלָא אַשְׁכָּחוּ מַיָא:

Moshe led [B’nei] Yisrael away from the Reed Sea, and they went out into the desert of Shur [Cheger], they traveled for three days in the desert and they did not find any water.

וַאֲתוֹ לְמָרָה וְלָא יְכִילוּ לְמִשְׁתֵּי מַיָא מִמָרָה אֲרֵי מְרִירִין אִנוּן עַל כֵּן קְרָא שְׁמַהּ מָרָה:

They came to Marah but they could not drink the water of Marah because it was bitter. The place was therefore called Marah [bitter].

וְאִתְרָעָמוּ עַמָא עַל משֶׁה לְמֵימַר מָה נִשְׁתֵּי:

The people complained to Moshe saying, “What shall we drink?”

וְצַלִי קֳדָם יְיָ וְאַלְפֵהּ יְיָ אָעָא וּרְמָא לְמַיָא וּבַסִימוּ מַיָא תַּמָן גְזַר לֵהּ קְיָם וְדִין וְתַמָן נַסְיֵהּ:

He [Moshe] cried out to [prayed before] Adonoy, Adonoy showed him [instructed him concerning] a tree and he threw it into the water, and the water became sweet [pleasing]. There He set before [established for] them statutes and ordinances, and there He tested them.

וַאֲמַר אִם קַבָּלָא תְקַבֵּל לְמֵימְרָא דַיְיָ אֱלָהָךְ וּדְכָשַׁר קֳדָמוֹהִי תַעְבֵּד וְתַצֵית לִפִקוּדוֹהִי וְתִטַר כָּל קְיָמוֹהִי כָּל מַרְעִין דִי שַׁוֵיתִי בְמִצְרַיִם לָא אֲשַׁוֵי עֲלָךְ אֲרֵי אֲנָא יְיָ אַסָךְ:

He said [to them,] “If you vigilantly obey the voice [Word] of Adonoy, your God, and do what is upright in His eyes [before Him], give ear to His commandments, and preserve all His statutes; [then], every sickness that I brought upon Egypt, I will not bring upon you, for I am Adonoy, Who heals you.

וַאֲתוֹ לְאֵילִם וְתַמָן תְּרֵי עֲסַר מַבּוּעִין דְמַיִן וְשִׁבְעִין דִקְלִין וּשְׁרוֹ תַמָן עַל מַיָא:

Then they came to Eilim, where there were twelve springs of water and seventy date palms. and they camped the by the water.
