For lust, one seeks separately, someone who has already separated from lust and seeks it, such as the old and the sick who have already separated from lust and who seeks and uses a trick to arouse lust, (by means of signs and the like) he will appear in all his cunning and weakness (from the word "teshut keah") because this will weaken his body in all kinds of teshut keah. And yet, those who have separated from lust (like the monks who would retire to deserts where there are no people) have their lust increased even more from seeking lust and not finding it with them, and in everything that is and is found that comes before them, the lust will appear even more intensely:

Sefaria Community Translation

A fool will not desire wisdom except in the revelation of his heart. There is a difference between a fool and a wretch, for the wretch is one who is content with the laws of wisdom, and in 27 he desires wisdom, for if he could understand everything with wisdom until he was not satisfied, he would desire more. Not so with the fool, who knows the laws of wisdom and is not satisfied. Only desire compels him, and thus he disputes wisdom, and he will not desire wisdom at all, only in the images of desire that are revealed to the heart, because according to the images of his heart that are revealed from the depths of the soul, whether good or evil, he will do, even though he has observed that his images are not good:

When evil comes, also comes contempt, from the measure of justice to honor every person, and the path of wickedness to dishonor, as the saying goes: "And the wicked man will be brought low and disgraced, for all men are despised in his eyes, and if he finds disgrace, he will bring disgrace with him. Disgrace is the reverse of honor, and the path of the wicked is to despise the honorable and to dishonor the lowly with disgrace."

Sefaria Community Translation

Deep waters are the words of a man's mouth. What a man speaks in words of wisdom is like a deep well, because wisdom is very deep, and originates in the depths of the soul, and from the source to the outlet there is a great distance from depth to surface, and in 27 the source of wisdom is like a stream that flows always without bothering, because wisdom is inherent in the nature of the soul and springs and spreads from the soul. Its springs overflow, only the nature of the body and the desires of the heart deepen and hide it, until the person who wants to speak and offer words of wisdom must tie a rope with a rope, one anointing with another, until he draws the water out of the deep and brings it up to the surface:

Sefaria Community Translation

It is not good to turn the face of a wicked man against a righteous man in judgment, and the lips of a fool will come into strife, already said that punishing a righteous man is not good, which is the question that is asked in the leadership why Hashem punishes the righteous man, and he said, "The darkness of his words knows knowledge, and the fool keeps silent. A wise man will consider." He illustrated that the fool will be silent and will not ask this question sometimes, because the fool disputes the laws of wisdom because he is satisfied with them and is not wicked because of his desire, and therefore sometimes he will be silent and will not ask these questions about which he has nothing clear, only sufficiency, but the fool knows the laws of wisdom and disputes them because his desire forces him to seek out plots against the wicked, and his lips will come into strife. And he asked both of these questions, about the success of the wicked, asking It is not good to turn the face of a wicked man against a righteous man, why would Hashem turn the face of the wicked man against a righteous man and not punish him, and why did the way of the wicked prosper, and likewise It is not good to turn the face of a righteous man against a righteous man, why would Hashem bring suffering upon the righteous man:

Sefaria Community Translation

The lips of a fool will come into strife, and his mouth will call for blows. The lips will speak the external word, and the mouth will speak the internal word with wisdom. When the fool asks this question with his external lips, he will already come into strife against Providence, and when he speaks with his mouth and according to the depth of wisdom, he will increase in strife to the point of blows and blows, and he will want to clarify from this that the leadership is against the laws of wisdom:

Sefaria Community Translation

A fool's mouth is a snare to him, and his lips are a snare to his soul. The snare is the breaking, and the snare is before the snare, and the Lord will make a snare for him with his external lips, in which his soul will be caught in a snare trap, and with his mouth, which is in the inner speech, he will finish the snare with wisdom. With his lips, his soul will be snare to a well of destruction, and what he utters with his mouth will be a snare to his body as well, because Hashem will punish us with bodily punishment as well:

The words of a nagging person are like a nagging person. From this question, a nagging person will arise, who is defined as someone who always complains about Hashem that He created for his harm, and that the evils in the world are greater than the good, and that it is better for him not to have been created, and in this he always complains about Hashem's leadership of His people because they have been left to chance, and his words are like nagging people, as if Hashem were always striking him and doing evil to him, and they descended into the chambers of his stomach, R"l that these evils and blows do not pass him by, but are only in the chambers of his stomach and in his conscience and thoughts, that in his imagination he is always worried and complaining and picturing to himself that everything that his neighbor has is lacking to him, and all the good things of Hashem as if they were evil, as in the parable of the skins that he mentioned in the duty of hearts, and as in the verse instructing that Hashem made man upright, in such a way that the source of evils is in himself and in his imagination, and his words themselves strike and correct him, not blows from without, that if he does not nag him, he will find On the contrary, everything is for the good, and everything is grace and blessing, and he will rejoice in his lot and his soul will rejoice in the salvation of Hashem, for Hashem created man upright and prepared everything for his benefit:

Sefaria Community Translation

Also, one who is lazy in his work is a brother to a destroyer. Someone who was assigned to do work for the kingdom, and one built the building and destroyed it, and one sat down and did not build at all, the punishment for both is the same, because whether so and so did not build the building assigned to them, and the one who is lazy and did not do it, he is a brother and similar to the owner of the work (R"l who did it) and the destroyer, and likewise there is no difference between someone who performed a mitzvah and committed a transgression that extinguishes a mitzvah and destroys, and between one who sits down and does nothing, neither a mitzvah nor a transgression, for both did not do what was assigned to them. And as it is drawn downward from the greatness of the name of the Lord, the name of the Lord is the tower that people build, and this is their task assigned to them to magnify the name of the Lord and to build His temple, and there is a builder and a destroyer and a non-builder at all, and both are punished the same, and this is also a response for a righteous person and a bad person mentioned above:

Sefaria Community Translation

(10-11) A strong tower is the name of the Lord, rich wealth is the city of his strength. Behold, the name of the Lord is the strong tower in truth, and the righteous who by his righteousness will establish this tower will run in it, for he will do all his deeds in the name of the Lord and for His glory, and will also exalt in it from his spiritual and physical enemies. But the rich will consider his wealth to be Kiryat Ezzo, and it is to him as a lofty wall, and he is found only in his continuity, R"L in the continuance of his heart and his imagination is a lofty wall, but he will not be able to run in this wall nor to excel in it, because it is only an unreal imagination, because the possessions of the world are imaginary possessions and only in the continuity of imagination are their foundation:

Sefaria Community Translation

Before a break, a man's heart is haughty, he has already said that the abomination of the Lord is every haughty heart, hand to hand, he will not cleanse, R"l that the Lord will punish us immediately, and the haughtiness of the heart is a sign of the break that will follow it, and the rich man who was deceived, in the continuity of his heart like a lofty wall, will be broken, but humility will go before honor, for he who is humble and takes refuge in the tower of strength, the name of the Lord, who dwells in the humble and lowly in spirit, will merit honor:

Sefaria Community Translation

Answering something before he hears it is a curse for him and a curse, from the path of wisdom that he should not only answer something clear, as in the saying, "Say to wisdom, my sister, if the matter is clear to you as your sister", etc. Therefore, one must hear the questioner's argument and all its sides and decide the clear thing, and in this he will gain respect from the listener. But if an answering before he hears all sides of doubt, he will answer a curse, that is, doubt, and will gain a curse from the listener:

Sefaria Community Translation

A man's spirit will sustain his illness, the spirit is what carries the body, and even if a sick person is in the body, the spirit's power is great to sustain the illness, and it will give him strength to suffer and to find courage, but if the spirit is afflicted and he is sick in spirit, who will bear it? Then the illness will also affect the body, as the saying goes, and a afflicted spirit will dry up the grain:

Sefaria Community Translation

A wise heart will acquire knowledge, and the ears of the wise will seek knowledge. The wise man has received the laws of wisdom in Kabbalah and does not have clear knowledge of them, because there is no example for the laws of wisdom. He will only seek knowledge with his ears, he will go to the wise to hear from them the reasons for the laws of wisdom in Kabbalah. However, the wise man who understands a thing from a thing, he will acquire knowledge through his heart, which understands a thing from a thing, and knowledge is his property and he should seek it from others:

Sefaria Community Translation

"A man who gives will be extended to him - There is a difference between the generous and the generous man, in that the generous man is known to give gifts even to the rich and the great, and although he may seem to be scattering his money freely, sometimes he will be extended to him, because they will be pleased with him before the great, and when he is in need, they will remember his gifts and strive on his behalf.

(17-19) The first righteous man in his dispute, etc. The states decide by lot, etc. A brother who has transgressed, etc., comes to teach that one should not become too strong in a dispute, because the loss is greater than the reward, and it is better for him to compromise, and according to the matter in dispute, they will cast lots between them and according to the lot, so it will be. He said, If you want to argue and think that you will be justified by the judge, here is truly The first righteous man in his dispute, but did not his opponent come and question, and you did not know what he would allege against you and how he would refute your claims, therefore it is good that The states decide by lot. If there is doubt among you and in a dispute and judgment who will take this part and who that part, you sit by lot, and also between great ones, because the Lord thinks that his claims are great and that justice is on his side, lot will separate, but if you want to come specifically For the law, There is a brother who has transgressed from Kiryat Az, R"l There is someone who deserves a share of the inheritance, and he believes he is sure of his right as Kiryat Az, as in the saying, "A rich fortune is Kiryat Az," and he is a transgressor from Kiryat Az, R"l Who has transgressed against him and is taking him out of his inheritance, And judges and the laws close against him Like the lock of a palace that closes tightly and does not allow anyone to enter, because by the judgment and the law it is even more difficult for him to achieve his desire and to enter the city from which he has transgressed, and therefore it is better to make an end by lot, as in the saying, "In the lap of the lot is cast, and from the Lord all his judgment":

Sefaria Community Translation

A man's mouth will satisfy his stomach, the fruit of his lips will satisfy him. We have already explained that the mouth alludes to speech with wisdom, and the tongue will allude to knowledge. Wisdom, when he speaks it with his mouth, will produce its fruit until his stomach is satisfied, and the fruit is the final fruit and will recommend knowledge. Then he will know the laws of wisdom with clear knowledge until he produces it with his lips, which is the external speech, which is the fruit of the fruit. Then he will be satisfied again with the fruit of knowledge, and behold, wisdom and knowledge will eat and be satisfied. And when he is satisfied, he will eat more, because they are acceptable things. And from the ears of the wise, ask for knowledge as above, and when he receives, he will be satisfied, confirming that he received and will not eat more, but alas.

Death and life are in the hand of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit. The tongue alludes to the sublime, intelligent speech that speaks in the depths of reason, in which it will understand to bring out a word of speech, and in which it will judge between truth and falsehood, on which death and life depend, that the one who believes in the principles of faith through the depths of reason will live, and the one who walks a stubborn path and denies the reality of Hashem and providence and reward and punishment will die, and this depends on the hand of the tongue, which it understood, and those who love it will eat its fruit. He will never be satisfied, but will always eat, because understanding has no limit and will always continue to bring out a word of speech:

Sefaria Community Translation

He finds a wife, he who finds a wife and finds good and obtains pleasure, meaning he finds a good wife on his part, and also obtains pleasure on the part of the woman, who desires him, and he obtains good from her, this is Ma, by Hashem's providence and goodness:

The rich man will speak supplications, if the rich man speaks supplications and begs, then the rich man will answer and subdue the strong, even if he is strong by nature, his nature will subdue to fulfill the rich man's supplications:

Sefaria Community Translation

A man of evil, the scholars have already said that the one who loves many does not even have one, because love is one, and whatever is multiplied is useless and separates, and whoever has many evil friends, he only associates so that he may pretend to be a man of evil and evil, because this is a fence of building, marvel at the appearance, and in reality he has no enemies, and there is a lover if he has one lover then he is adherent to a brother, and this is the fence of love, which will grow above all loves even from brotherly love:
