THE SIX REMEMBRANCES
The Exodus from Egypt
That you may remember the day you left the land of Egypt all the days of your life.
The Revelation at Mount Sinai
Only be careful and watch yourself very closely lest you forget the things your eyes have seen or let them slip from your heart all the days of your life. You shall make them known to your children and your children’s children – the day you stood before the LORD your God at Horeb when the LORD said to me, “Assemble the people before Me and I will let them hear My words, so that they may learn to be in awe of Me as long as they live on earth, and they will teach them to their children.”
Amalek
Remember what Amalek did to you on your way out of Egypt, how he met you on the way, cutting off those who were lagging behind, when you were tired and exhausted, and he did not fear God. So, when the LORD your God grants you rest from all your enemies around you in the land the LORD your God is about to give you to possess as an inheritance, you shall wipe out the memory of Amalek from under the heavens: you shall not forget.

THE TEN COMMANDMENTS
God spoke all these words, saying:
I am the LORD your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt, from the slave-house.
Have no other gods besides Me. Do not make a sculptured image for yourself, or any likeness of what is in the heavens above, or on the earth below, or in the waters under the earth. Do not bow down to them or worship them, for I am the LORD your God, a zealous God, visiting the guilt of the parents on the children to the third and fourth generation, if they also reject Me; but showing kindness to thousands of generations of those who love Me and keep My commandments.
Do not take the name of the LORD your God in vain. The LORD will not leave unpunished one who utters His name in vain.
Remember the Sabbath and keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of the LORD your God; on it you shall not do any work – you, your son or daughter, your male or female slaves, your cattle, or the stranger within your gates. For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth and sea, and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day; therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.

Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land that the LORD your God is giving you.
Do not murder.

THE THIRTEEN PRINCIPLES OF JEWISH FAITH
- I believe with perfect faith that the Creator, blessed be His name, creates and rules all creatures, and that He alone made, makes, and will make, all things.
- I believe with perfect faith that the Creator, blessed be His name, is One; that there is no oneness like His in any way; and that He alone is our God who was, is, and ever will be.
- I believe with perfect faith that the Creator, blessed be His name, is not physical, that no physical attributes can apply to Him, and that there is nothing whatsoever to compare to Him.
- I believe with perfect faith that the Creator, blessed be His name, is first and last.
- I believe with perfect faith that the Creator, blessed be His name, is the only one to whom it is proper to pray, and that it is improper to pray to anyone else.
- I believe with perfect faith that all the words of the prophets are true.
- I believe with perfect faith that the prophecy of Moses our teacher, peace be to him, was true, and that he was the father of the prophets – those who preceded him and those who followed him.
- I believe with perfect faith that the entire Torah now in our hands is the same one that was given to Moses our teacher, peace be upon him.
- I believe with perfect faith that this Torah will not be changed, nor will there be any other Torah from the Creator, blessed be His name.
- I believe with perfect faith that the Creator, blessed be His name, knows all the deeds and thoughts of humanity, as it is said, “He fashions the hearts of them all, comprehending all their deeds.”
- I believe with perfect faith that the Creator, blessed be His name, rewards those who keep His commandments, and punishes those who transgress them.
- I believe with perfect faith in the coming of the Messiah, and though he may delay, I wait daily for his coming.
- I believe with perfect faith that the dead will live again at a time of the Creator’s choosing: blessed be His name and exalted be His mention for ever and all time.
May the LORD our God be with us, as He was with our ancestors. May He never abandon us or forsake us, ever; as He turns our hearts toward Him, to follow all His paths and to keep His commands and His statutes and laws, as He charged our ancestors. And may these words with which I have pleaded before the LORD be close to the LORD our God, day and night, that He do justice for Your servant, and for Your people Israel, day by day. That all the peoples of the earth shall know that the LORD is God; there is no other.

Turn to me and show me favor, for I am lonely and afflicted. My foot stands on level ground: in the assemblies I will bless the LORD. The LORD is my Guardian; the LORD is my Shade at my right hand. My help comes from the LORD, Maker of heaven and earth. The LORD will guard my coming and going, for life and for peace, now and for evermore. Gaze down from Your holy dwelling place, from the heavens, and bless Your people Israel, and the land that You have given us, as You promised our ancestors: a land flowing with milk and honey.

May the peoples praise You, God; may all the peoples praise You! The nations will rejoice and break into song; for You judge the peoples with equity and guide the nations of the earth, Selah. May the peoples praise You, God; may all the peoples praise You! The earth has yielded its produce; may God, our God, bless us. May God bless us, and may all the ends of the earth fear Him!

All the nations will walk, each in the name of its god; and I will walk in the name of the LORD, the living God and eternal King. My help comes from the LORD, Maker of heaven and earth. The LORD will reign for ever and all time.
Lead me, LORD, in Your righteousness, because of my foes; make Your way straight before me.

Invaders may invade Gad, but he will invade at their heels. David was wise in all that he did, and the LORD was with him. And Noah found favor in the eyes of the LORD.
My help comes from the LORD, Maker of heaven and earth. Cast your cares upon the LORD and He will sustain you. Watch the blameless, observe the upright, for there is a future for the peace-loving man. Trust in the LORD and do good, settle the land and cherish faithfulness. Behold, God is my salvation. I will trust and not be afraid. The LORD, the LORD, is my strength and my song. He has become my salvation. Master of the Universe, it is written in Your holy scriptures:“Love surrounds him who trusts in the LORD”; and it is written: “You give life to them all.” LORD, God of truth, grant blessing and success to all the works of my hands. For I place my trust in You, that through my trade, through my profession, You will send me blessing, allowing me to sustain myself and the people of my household with ease, without suffering, by legal and not by forbidden means, for life and for peace. And may what is written be fulfilled in me: “Cast your cares upon the LORD and He will sustain you.” Amen.
